Heavy-Duty Cast Steel Construction with Tunable Rubber Block Stiffness

Constructed from Cast Steel and heavy-duty rubber blocks — a unique, maintenance-free replacement for conventional Gear Couplings.

Severe Shock Load Protection: Avoids driveline failure by cushioning high transient starting torques.
Intrinsically Fail-Safe: Ensures continuous operation of the driveline in the unlikely event of rubber failure or damage.
Maintenance-Free: Zero lubrication or ongoing adjustment required, resulting in exceptionally low running costs.
Vibration Control: Achieves low vibratory loads in driveline components via optimal rubber block stiffness selection.
Zero Backlash & Misalignment: Pre-compressed rubber eliminates torque amplifications while accommodating axial and radial shaft misalignment.
Low Replacement Time: Future replacement parts are strictly the Rubber Blocks, replaced swiftly with minimal plant stoppage.

Engineering Methodology

Coupling Sizing Selection Procedure

  • Tdyn (Operating Torque): Torque of the input Machine (Kgm)
  • Tmax (Permissible Nominal Torque): of the Coupling (Kgm)
  • P: Input Power rating in kW
  • N: Coupling Operating Speed in RPM
  • S: Operational Service Factor from application table
T_dyn = 974 × ( P / N ) Kgm
T_max ≥ T_dyn × S

*Important Verification: After preliminary selection, the coupling must be checked against shaft bore sizes (SK & Bsp), flywheel connecting dimensions (if applicable), shaft gaps (L), and maximum speed limits.
